“I like to operate in the technological space defined by Heidegger when he famously suggested that the problem concerning technology is not about technology. Technological narratives have always and will always drive technological innovation. We don’t build rockets and ask what we can do with them. Rather we build support for a space colonization narrative and then develop the necessary technology to support the mission. Architecture is a cultural project and therefore a critical thinking project. Technology supports architecture as a Humanity. Architects are generalists and are rarely technical pioneers, but rather technical opportunists. ”
